+I) Automatic Installation
+
+Type "make install". This will place the pt script in /usr/local/bin/pt and
+the configuration file to /etc/.
+
+That's it.
+
+
+II) Manual Installation
+
+Copy the file "bin/pt" to some location, for example /usr/local/bin and make
+it executable by the system:
+
+- mkdir -p /usr/local/bin
+- cp bin/pt /usr/local/bin/
+- chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/pt
+
+Optionally, you can copy the sample configuration file to /etc:
+
+- cp etc/pt.conf /etc/
+- chmod 644 /etc/pt.conf
+
+Now try something like "pt --help".
